Lakewood Triangle Park
Location: Cascadia Ave. S and Lakewood Ave. S
Seattle Parks Foundation worked with the Mt. Baker community and neighbors, Gary and Vicki Glant, to convert a small unimproved green space into a beautifully landscaped quarter-acre park. Consistent with Olmsted themes, this park features a classic stone wall border, a viewpoint with bench, a sculpted lawn, and plantings that together create a lovely, contemplative green space overlooking Lake Washington.
Lakewood Triangle Park is one of Seattle Park Foundation’s Legacy Park Projects and a neighborhood treasure made possible by the vision and generosity of Gary and Vicki Glant. Their gift continues the Olmsted tradition of elegant and accessible city parks, and marks a unique citizen investment in Seattle's future.
Additional funding for the project was provided by the Pendleton and Elisabeth Carey Miller Charitable Foundation.
